Kalavastha blends official weather data and community signals to reflect local conditions more closely than traditional feeds. These guidelines keep contributions helpful for farmers, travelers, and residents across India.
2) Accurate Weather Votes
- Vote only for the current weather you observe in your location.
- Choose the closest match (☀️ sunny, 🌧️ rainy, ☁️ cloudy, ⛈️ thunder, ❄️ snowy).
- Avoid duplicate votes from multiple tabs or devices just to sway results.
- When in doubt, choose the more neutral option (e.g., ☁️ cloudy).
3) Respectful Participation
- Be kind and constructive. Weather affects livelihoods—your input matters.
- No harassment, hate speech, or content targeting individuals or groups.
- Use the platform for weather and safety—not politics or unrelated topics.
4) Quality & Reliability
- We may throttle suspicious activity to protect data quality.
- Automated or scripted voting is not allowed.
- Village, sub-district, and district naming should follow official/commonly accepted spellings.
5) Safety First
Kalavastha is informational and community-driven. For life-critical decisions, always consult official sources and local authorities.
6) Prohibited Content
- Spam, scams, or malicious links.
- Impersonation or misrepresentation.
- Attempts to hack, DDoS, or exploit the platform.
- Publishing private or personally identifiable information without consent.
7) Adding a Village
Missing a village? Send a request with accurate spellings and administrative details:
- State → District → Sub-District → Village
- Any alternate spellings or references (a government census link helps).
8) Reporting Issues
See an error in names, boundaries, or weather readings? Let us know:
- Wrong or duplicate village/district names.
- Abusive behavior or suspected spam voting.
- Technical problems on pages or maps.
